Why are bees important?
Bees are important because they pollinate our crops. In fact, 4 out of 10 bites you eat is pollinated by bees; the other 6 is pollinated by beetles, moths, flies, hummingbirds, and wasps.
Why are bees disappearing?
We do not know for sure but we think is it people planting monocrop, using pesticides, and moving the hives to pollinate commercial crops.
What you can do to help?
You can plant bee-friendly seeds in your garden, sign the bee protection pledge, and educate your friends and neighbors about bees.
